Steve had the privilege of creating the brand from the ground up, offering marketing and communications strategy, and delivering beautiful digital and tactile experiences for the University of Arkansas’s Heartland Challenge: an international, high-growth start-up competition for graduate students with a prize pool of $110,000 sponsored by the Walton Family Foundation. Steve created the original Heartland Challenge brand using a regional topographic map of Northwest Arkansas and adapting it to fully integrate NWA’s DNA.
